· This Science Kit for Class 7 is intended for making children understand the concepts such as light, the properties of convergence and divergence, heat etc

Learning Outcomes

Electromagnetic Crane-: Children will learn about electromagnetism by passing electricity through an iron foil. This activity for kids will help them in learning the fundamentals.
Propeller Car-: Have you ever wondered how can we convert electrical energy to wind energy? This activity for kids is the best tool or that!!
Steady Hand Electric Game-: Through this activity, children will learn about how to make a simple circuit and understand when a circuit is called complete/incomplete, open/closed etc.
Electric Torch with a Switch-: This is designed to make the user learn about how a switch can be made and will demonstrate the working principle of a switch.
Filtration Process-: This is to explain how filtration takes place when a mixture of sand and water is poured on a filter paper.
Simple Pendulum-: Through this, the user will understand how a simple pendulum works, which, when displaced from an initial angle and released, swings back and forth with the periodic motion.
Newton’s Disc-: This is a demonstration that the white light is a combination of the seven diverse colours found in a rainbow (VIBGYOR).
Formation of Carbon Dioxide-: This activity will tell students how carbon dioxide is being formed when baking soda is added to Vinegar.
Burning of Magnesium Ribbon-: Understand how the air expands on heating and affects the density of the air.
Convergence and Divergence-: Learn more about the properties of convergence and divergence of light, by using convex and concave mirrors.
Red and blue Litmus Test-: This test will help students find which solutions are acidic and which ones are basic.
Hot Air Rises up-: This will demonstrate how air expands on heating and affects the density of the air.
Effect of Saliva on starch-: This is to demonstrate the effect of saliva on starch, which contains an enzyme called Salivary Amylase, which hydrolyses starch to Maltose.
Human Urinary System-: As part of the science projects for class 7, children will learn about the process of the urinary system and the function of kidneys in the body.
Heating effect of electric Current-: Children, through this activity, will learn that when current flows through a conductor, heat energy is generated, and what are the factors influencing it.

Working of a compass-: Through this activity, children will understand and observe different sizes and properties of shadows based on the distance of an object from a light source.
Measuring temperature using a thermometer-: By this activity, the user will learn to measure the temperature of a body, using a thermometer.
PH Test-: This test helps to understand the concentration of acidity or alkalinity of a solution.
Mechanism of breathing-: Understanding the process and working of respiration, that encompasses inspiration and respiration.
Change in colour of Copper Sulphate-: This will help the student understand that different metals have different degrees of reaction which forms the basis of reactivity series of metals.
Conduction in Solid-: This is a demonstration of the concept of conduction (the process by which heat is transferred from the other end to the colder end).
Magnetic Effect of Current-: Understanding the concept of saturation ( a point where no more solute can be dissolved in a solvent).
